As we have prayed and considered what God is already doing through the synergy of Bethany ministries around the world, a new global strategy, GAP or Global Access Partnerships, is emerging. We are beginning to develop “GAP sites” in strategic regions which provide gateways to unreached peoples and/or to the established national church. Activities within a site may include evangelism, discipleship, mercy ministry, business as missions, training, sending, or community development.
We realize that the GAP strategy is just that - one strategy for accomplishing our vision. An important element included in this is partnership and collaboration with other organizations and with the national church. As we collaborate with others in ministry we will realize an impact beyond what we can accomplish alone. While GAP will be a major focus over the next few years, we continue to value the ongoing activities our missionaries engage in each day around the globe.
