One way to gain cross-cultural ministry experience is to participate in mid-term outreach of 4 months to 2 years.  This exposure provides opportunity to learn language and culture, join missionaries and nationals in ministry, and experience life transformation along with observing what God is doing in a particular region of the world.

There are three options for mid-term service:

1.  Associate Internship:  Missionary interns work in a 4-month field ministry focused on evangelism. A pre-requisite for this is a Bethany College of Missions certificate.

2.  Global Internship:  A 16-month internship of missionary intern teams, which includes a guided learning experience (in partnership with Bethany College of Missions) involving academic studies and working in ministry.

3.  Serve alongside of Bethany missionaries: 4 months to 2 years.   You may have a specific skill which could be a great help to a missionary team in areas such as computers and technology, medicine, education, TESOL, construction, etc. You will have opportunity to learn language and culture while working in ministry.
