Become a long-term missionary
If you are ready to serve an extended period in cross-cultural ministry, 
then you are likely planning on going for longer than two years. Long-term missionaries are able to build strong relationships as they remain in an area for an extended time. Often it will take up to two years to learn language and culture sufficiently to really minister in the “heart language” of the people you are working among.
There are a number of opportunities to serve long-term with Bethany in building communities of believers, training and mobilizing the church.
